📢 Digital Upskilling + open-air debates = Digital Empowerment

A day designed to train, inspire, and celebrate women’s talent in the digital and music sectors.

Whether you’re an artist, musician, producer, programmer, manager, DJ, or someone trying to carve out a path in the music world, you’ve probably asked yourself at some point:
→ Why don’t my tracks appear on the playlists that matter?
→ How can I turn my online audience into real-life concertgoers?

💻 Digital Upskilling – Training sessions

The workshops will be led by Ctrl+Reach (the new brand from Your Music Marketing), hosted by Gabriel de Gouberville and Lauriane Saint-Denis. This startup, part of the MusicTech Europe ecosystem, is well known for its reports and its multichannel digital strategy tool.

They will present two hands-on sessions designed for women and gender-diverse artists, communication teams and independent label professionals who want to understand how algorithmic recommendation systems on digital platforms work—and how to influence them effectively. The second workshop explores how to build and manage your own fan database and turn it into real revenue.

🎧 Workshop I — How Music Recommendation Algorithms Work

Ever wondered why your songs don’t appear in the playlists that matter? This workshop will teach you how music recommendation systems like Spotify, YouTube or TikTok work—and how to strategically “hack” them to increase your visibility. You’ll learn how to interpret metrics like streams, saves or engagement, and explore tools like the Spotify Popularity Index. We’ll review real-world case studies (like Chloé Antoniotti) and explore how targeted campaigns and social strategy can grow your audience.
If you’re an artist, manager or run a label, this session will help you understand how the digital game works—and how to make it work for you.

📩 Workshop II — From Stories to Sold-Out: How to Fill Venues with Effective Email Campaigns

This workshop will explore how to build and manage a committed fanbase and turn it into ticket sales through strategic email marketing. We’ll cover key concepts like first-party data, share actionable tips for using CRM tools, and explain how to leverage past purchases for targeted digital advertising. With real examples, this session will provide concrete tactics to turn followers into real-world audiences—and emails into packed shows.

💬 The Debate: Music, Technology and Female-Led Success Stories

This roundtable brings together four powerful voices in the sector: a digital artist, a founder and two experts in digital business. The discussion will address specific challenges faced by women entrepreneurs, including access to funding, while also highlighting data and success stories from real-world projects that have generated return and impact.
Participants will share practical tips for navigating today’s digital ecosystem and offer fresh insights into new collaboration models and pathways.

Debate Participants:
Moderator: Rita Giménez, Director of MusicTech Hub Barcelona
🔹 Alba Guerrero
🔹 Grazia Carlone
🔹 Mercè Tell
🔹 Amélie Mariage

🎶 Networking + DJ Set

Starting at 19:30, the music and tech community will gather to build connections, networks and new synergies. The historic Bar Merbeyé, with its stunning views over Barcelona, will transform into a space for learning, dialogue and celebration.

🎧 The evening will be soundtracked by DJ Andrea Zarco (Femnoise), known for her elegant, global, and emotional sets.
