Still writting a short summary about the Athens Music Week. We met an incredible bunch of talented people, assisted to different workshops and panel debates. An incredible musical program, combined with a series of learning spaces related to digital tools, business models, visions, and legal compositions on AI, or on diversity. A musical ecosystem increasingly digital with Music Tech Europe present, along with its start-ups and all its members.

This session focused on identifying and eliminating bias within the music industry through disruptive tools, methodologies, and public policies. It aimed to inspire innovative approaches to enhance inclusivity and diversity

Three moments amazed us:

  • AI’s Role in Redefining Music Industry Boundaries: Legal Landscapes and AI in Music: Legal professionals and tech experts delved into the complexities of intellectual property, copyright, and ethical considerations surrounding AI in music. The panel provided a comprehensive overview of the current legal frameworks and future challenges as AI continues to evolve within the industry.

  • All biased: What Is the Music Industry Doing to Reverse It. This session focused on identifying and eliminating bias within the music industry through disruptive tools, methodologies, and public policies. It aimed to inspire innovative approaches to enhance inclusivity and diversity.
